FCMS (NW)
Nathan recently delivered a talk and workshop for FCMS NW on International Men’s Day, exploring masculinity, mental health and expression. The session was attended by 25+ male staff from the organisation and, despite apprehension amongst many to begin with, a safe, positive space was generated, with many attendees feeling confident enough to share and discuss personal thoughts and experiences relating to the topic at hand.
“Street style delivery of a sensitive topic”
“I can’t believe how Nathan managed to get so many blokes to open up”
Nathan is looking forward to continuing his relationship with FCMS by travelling to the Doncaster offices in 2023 to replicate.
Electrical Insulation Association
In the summer of 2022, Nathan was honoured to be invited to the EIA Trade Association’s AGM in Haydock, Liverpool to deliver a talk on Mental Health. In a room dominated by men, this was particularly pertinent, given the links between mental health, suicide and tradesmen. Nathan is excited to be joining the European branch in Berlin in May 2023 to offer something similar.
